Benefit Bingo Test
Find out which of your benefits matters most to shoppers, steal their language, and cut the benefits nobody picks.
Benefit Bingo Test
List out your top 3-5 benefits and test which one is the most important to shoppers. Focus your images and messaging around the top ones.
The question this answers
Which benefit is the most important to shoppers?
What shoppers are asked
Shoppers see your options and are asked to pick one and explain why:
Which benefit is the most important to you? Why?
How to set it up
This section is a stub. Write the step-by-step setup, what a good variation looks like, and how to read the result, then change status: seed to status: published in the front matter.
How to read the result
This is a ranking exercise, not a copy test. The output isn't 'which wording won' — it's an ordered list of what your customers care about. Treat the winner as a strategic finding rather than a line of text.
Steal their language. The explanations are the most valuable part of this test. Shoppers will describe the benefit in their own words, and their words are almost always plainer and more searchable than yours. Use theirs.
The loser earns its place too. A benefit nobody picks is one you can cut from your images, your bullets and your ads — that's reclaimed attention, not a wasted test.
A flat spread across all options means your benefits are undifferentiated in shoppers' minds. That's a positioning problem, and no amount of image testing will fix it.
What to do next
Push the winning benefit everywhere it can go:
- Sequenced Benefit Test — lead your secondary images with it
- Speed Bump Title Test — work it into the title
- Golden Guarantee Test — if the winning benefit was about risk or durability, turn it into a guarantee
