Page Content Test
Test which A+ content variation shoppers prefer, find the unanswered questions that cost you sales, and know when to stop optimising below the fold.
Page Content Test
Create variations of your A+ content and take screenshots of each. Test which one shoppers prefer.
The question this answers
Which version of A+ content do shoppers prefer?
What shoppers are asked
Shoppers see your options and are asked to pick one and explain why:
Which images do you prefer? Why?
How to set it up
This section is a stub. Write the step-by-step setup, what a good variation looks like, and how to read the result, then change status: seed to status: published in the front matter.
How to read the result
Set your expectations low and read the comments closely. A+ content sits well below the fold and many shoppers never reach it, which is exactly why this is a low-impact test. A close result is the normal outcome.
The explanations are worth more than the vote here. You're looking for what shoppers still didn't know after reading: the unanswered question. Every "it didn't say whether..." is a gap you can close, and closing it is worth more than whichever layout nominally won.
If the result is close and nobody had questions, your A+ is doing its job and your conversion problem is upstream. Stop optimising it.
What to do next
- Sequenced Benefit Test: the same content higher up the page, where more shoppers see it
- Objection Test: hear the unanswered questions out loud instead of inferring them
- Listing Optimization Test: a whole-listing read when A+ isn't the bottleneck
